This Bass C is a beautiful example of Flame Box Elder. I've started shortening the slow air chamber and off setting the bottom hole on Bass C through D# to assist wrist strain. The end caps are salt water salvaged Red Wood Burl with rings of Purple Heart and CoCo Bolo. This flute has a full mellow voice.
